Frank Arthur Reade was born July 9, 1898 Smithshire, Illinois and died Oct 3, 1973 Benton County, Oregon according to Social Security Death Index and the Oregon, US Death Index.

In the 1930 Federal Census, he is born Illinois, parents born Virginia, wife Pearle, living in Yainax, Klamath, Oregon. He was a fireman on the railroad. Children Robert, James, Harold, Marie Collins.

Working on the Master List, Phase 1 Complete

I guess I am to take on massive tasks solo. It took me about 4 weeks of working 2 to 7 hours a day to complete Phase 1 which was to alphabetize all the individuals listed in the Mid-Valley Genealogy Records.  I had to add up the 91 pages. 1,004 individuals have been listed, by me. That's pretty good! That's a lot of good work done. Four weeks worth of work. I knew it would take many days. I just had no idea how many. Cool Next, add/cross-check DAR records. DAR doesnt have plot numbers, just names and dates. Then check the Veterans list. Finally, go through the Find-A-Grave memorials one at a time to fill out, complete the list. FG currently lists 1,121 of which I must have recently added close to a hundred as I remember the figure was just a bit over 1,000 when I started. Taking a transcrption break tomorrow. I deserve it!!
