Seits research shows this may be Ida May Seites, widow, born November 13, 1858, 58 years old, died April 13, 1915, Halsey address, father William Berry Pennsylvania, mother Mourning Arnold Indiana, Lorrain Gleason, Halsey is the informant, place of burial is Corvallis. Married Francis Seits in Benton County September 19, 1908. She was a dressmaker.

Working on the Master List, Phase 1 Complete

I guess I am to take on massive tasks solo. It took me about 4 weeks of working 2 to 7 hours a day to complete Phase 1 which was to alphabetize all the individuals listed in the Mid-Valley Genealogy Records.  I had to add up the 91 pages. 1,004 individuals have been listed, by me. That's pretty good! That's a lot of good work done. Four weeks worth of work. I knew it would take many days. I just had no idea how many. Cool Next, add/cross-check DAR records. DAR doesnt have plot numbers, just names and dates. Then check the Veterans list. Finally, go through the Find-A-Grave memorials one at a time to fill out, complete the list. FG currently lists 1,121 of which I must have recently added close to a hundred as I remember the figure was just a bit over 1,000 when I started. Taking a transcrption break tomorrow. I deserve it!!
